📚 Glossary - Trading Terms & Definitions

Entry Price

The recommended price to buy the stock. Based on current market price with technical confirmation.

Stop Loss

Price at which to exit the trade to limit losses. Set at 10% below entry price for swing trades.

R1, R2, R3 (Targets)

Resistance levels or profit targets. R1 at +15%, R2 at +20%, R3 at +22.5%. These are your exit points for booking profits.

RSI (Relative Strength Index)

Momentum oscillator (0-100). Values 55-75 are optimal for swing trades. Below 30 = oversold, above 70 = overbought.

MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)

Trend-following momentum indicator. When MACD line crosses above signal line, it's a bullish signal.

Moving Averages (MA)

SMA50/200 (Simple Moving Averages). Used to identify trend direction. Bullish when price is above SMA50, and SMA50 is above SMA200.

Momentum

7-day price change percentage. Minimum 7% momentum required for swing trade candidates. Shows strength of recent price movement.

Volume Threshold

Minimum daily volume of 200,000 shares required. Ensures adequate liquidity for entering and exiting positions.
